Throughout my summer internship at TeraThink I was fortunate enough to work on a variety of different projects. They exposed me to many different areas within which TeraThink delivers solutions. The final assignment I was tasked with was on a data analytics project. I was lucky enough to work with the Director of TeraThink’s Data Analytics Community of Practice, Beth Bauer.
We focused on creating modernized, interactive visuals to complement the pre-existing ones on the Veterans Affairs (VA) website. The efforts were inspired by the Veterans Affairs Open Data Portal. This portal allows anyone to figure out ways to improve and modernize the VA’s current data visualizations. Tableau was the perfect tool for us to accomplish this.
Today we are proud to announce that TeraThink has been awarded a $12M single award Task Order from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We will be performing independent verification and validation (IV&V) services in support of their Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) initiative. This multidimensional IV&V support for the VA’s financial business system implementation will utilize CGI’s Momentum® Federal ERP suite. This win demonstrates our long-held reputation for excellent performance delivering Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs.
TeraThink has been awarded a prime position on the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Shared Services Line of Business (SSLoBS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). An estimated $500 million multi-award BPA, this win is a testament to our team’s 20+ years of continuous delivery and excellence supporting USDA’s mission.
The objective of the SSLoBS BPA is to drive the OCFO’s (Office of the Chief Financial Officer) mission, while providing USDA’s shared service offerings to customers government-wide. The scope of this BPA includes services for Financial Management, Human Resources, Information Technology Services Division, External Systems Development, and Personnel & Pay. These service offerings are designed to eliminate time-consuming, transactional functions and allow agencies to focus on their core mission.
